West-Ark Youth
Spring Break Activities

March 13 - March 21, 2004

We had 3 main events together during the week of Spring Break. First, we had a 7th-12th grade Birthday Party/Celebration for a couple of our seniors. We played games, ate supper, and enjoyed some great fellowship.

Then we had a 10th-12th grade camping trip that turned out to be full of surprises. We had a great night of roasting hot dogs, singing, telling stories, etc. One of our sophmore girls even caught her first fish during the trip ... and then ... John Carson decided to make things interesting by crossing paths with a Wild Turkey. That's right! His red Ford pickup will never be the same. Just take a look ...

The Passion of the Christ Finally, we went as a youth group to see the Mel Gibson film "The Passion of The Christ." It was the first time for many of our teens and their families to see it. We came back to the building for a special worship service and discussion after the movie.

We had a great week together and we look forward to LTC, Senior Graduation Services, and the onset of Summer Break.
