West-Ark Youth
Heifer International Project

Perryville, Arkansas
June 24-27, 2005

It's hard to put into words what we experienced these 4 days as a church group. The Heifer International Project was definitely one of the most educational and beneficial things we have ever done as a group.

We spent almost 24 hours in the Global Village. Six of our teens/adults spent the night in a Thai House. Seven of us spent the night in the Urban Slums. Five spent the night in an African Hut.

Here are some of the pictures from our activities that focused on building trust, learning more about world hunger and survival and what part we can play in helping put an end to world hunger.

Every group gets to "leave their mark" on the wall at Heifer International. Thanks to Marcia Tomlin, we left a pretty cool message behind from the West-Ark church family.
