On Sunday afternoon, August 28th, Brent Perkins was
presented the Eagle Scout award from the Boy Scouts of America.
(Read about earning the rank of Eagle.) Brent is a 9th
grade student from Greenwood, AR, and he is a member of the
West-Ark Church of Christ. Many of his friends from West-Ark,
his family members, and fellow Boy Scouts from Troop 226 in Greenwood
were present for the ceremony that took place in the West-Ark
Family Life Center. We are proud of Brent for this great accomplishment
and more importantly for his example in his community and school as
a soldier of the cross. Fellow troop member, Andrew Todd,
who is also a member at West-Ark is just one step away from also
receiving his Eagle Scout award. We are proud of you boys for
all that you stand for! Keep up the great work!
