12th Annual
Crosswalk Youth Rally

September 24-25, 2005
Rogers, Arkansas

We took 25 teens and adults to the 12th annual Crosswalk Youth Rally in Rogers, AR, on September 24th-25th. The theme for this year was "Burn: Igniting Your Spiritual Passion." It was a great weekend and it really impacted our young people.

What a blessing it is to join 300 area teens and adults to focus on what we need to do invidually to improve our relationship with God. We all face the dangers of letting our spiritual fires go out at different points in our lives and it's good to be reminded of ways to keep the fire burning.

One of our teenagers, Brad Moore, who attended Crosswalk for the first time was really convicted by our worship and study together. He decided that it was time for him to commit his life to Christ. When we returned on Sunday, he was baptized into Christ. I am thankful for this decision and I am thankful that many of our teens and Brad's parents and grandparents were there to witness his confession and new birth.

I have received two emails this week from other teens who were convicted of things during the youth rally and we have committed to work through those things together. Crosswalk was created to help teens realize the need to deny themselves, take up their cross daily and focus on Jesus. Praise God for all He has done over the past decade through Crosswalk!
