West-Ark Youth
LEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR CHRIST
(LTC)

April 6-7, 2007
"Unstoppable"

One of the best ways for our young people to learn about and put LEADERSHIP into practice is through Leadership Training for Christ. Over 100 elementary students, teens and parents from West-Ark participate in LTC each year. This program has greatly enhanced our ongoing leadership classes at West-Ark.

The activities associated with LTC train our young people to speak, lead signing, read scripture, sign for the deaf, make bulletin boards and banners, make Christian art, act and participate in drama, sing with small and large choruses, and many other things.Their training takes place throughout the year as they practice reading scripture in teen and adult Bible classes. They lead singing, prayer, and serve communion during Sunday morning worship services. They help lead area devotionals and worship services at area nursing homes. They speak and participate in their school FCA, TFC, and chapel services, and they lead in many other ways.

LTC 2007 was a great experience for our teens and families at West-Ark. We are thankful for all we continue to learn through programs and ongoing experiences like this.
